My name is Rick Mowery of Bedford, Indiana. I hope my website will inspire you to reach for the dream of owning of your own log home.

Just like you, my wife and I began researching different log home companies in the Fall of 1991, dreaming of building our own log home. We made many phone calls, contacting various log home companies. We compared many different log styles and house plans, and asked endless questions of all the log home companies we contacted.

After researching the log home industry, we placed our confidence in the Honest Abe Log Home Company of Moss, Tennessee. We felt so confident in Honest Abe Log Homes, that I became a dealer for the company in March of 1992. Selling and building log homes has been my full-time occupation for the past 14 years. Currently, I have sold/constructed nearly 70 Honest Abe Log Homes, including our own family home, which we moved in to in March of 1993. Honest Abe Log Homes helped us realize our dream of a log home.
